What merchant types are unacceptable for ACH applications?

Context

When processing ACH applications through GrailPay, certain merchant types are considered unacceptable and will not be approved. Partners and merchants may need to know which business types fall into this category before submitting applications.

Answer

GrailPay will not consider ACH applications for the following merchant types:

  • Cryptocurrency

  • NFTs

  • Gambling

  • Countries under sanction

  • Cannabis

  • Adult Entertainment

  • Payment for or sponsorship of any illegal activity

  • Firearms/Weapons

If your business falls into any of these categories, your ACH application will not be approved by GrailPay. Please ensure your merchant type is acceptable before submitting an application.
