Context

Onboarding a company as a GrailPay merchant requires that they undergo our KYB verification review.

Answer

To pass KYB, a Social Security Number (SSN) is required for at least one beneficial owner of the merchant being onboarded. his is necessary for our compliance and underwriting policies.

• Full nine-digit SSN is preferred

• Last 4 digits of SSN may be accepted as an alternative, but If identity verification on the beneficial owner fails with last just the last 4 digits, the KYB review on the merchant will not succeed.
