How can I confirm if an ACH payout was received by the destination bank?
Last updated: October 15, 2025
Context
When sending ACH payouts, customers may need to verify whether the funds have been received by the destination bank, especially in cases where the recipient reports not seeing the payment in their account.
Settlement confirmation indicates that the destination bank has communicated to us receipt of the funds, but this does not necessarily mean those funds are immediately available in the recipient's account. The recipient's bank determines the final posting schedule.
Answer
There are several stages to verify the status of an ACH payout:
Within our system, you can confirm that the file was picked up by our bank using the UUID.
The settlement status can be checked to confirm if the destination bank has accepted the funds.
For the exact timing of when funds become available in the recipient's account:
This information is not directly visible in our system, as actual funds availability in a recipient's bank account is is dependent on the participating financial institution's internal policies.
Processing may be delayed by banking holidays
If additional verification is needed, we can initiate a trace request with our bank using the trace ID. Contact support to request this.
